Mike King's summer concert is an uplifting and inspiring event bringing together his Goldsmiths vocal students past and present and the local community who will raise the roof with renditions of popular soul and gospel classics.

Mike King is a gifted singer, songwriter, pianist, vocal coach, musical director and producer who has been involved in the music industry for over a decade. Aside from being a successful artist in his own right, Mike has devoted much of his time to nurturing the talent of others and making a positive impact through music.
In 2011 Mike helped smash a Guinness World Record by directing 5,000 people at Wembley Arena in London to raise money for Save the Children. He has also arranged and directed choirs for recordings at the famous Abbey Road Studios and worked with various international artists, including Grammy Award-winning singer, Angelique Kidjo.
As a musical director Mike's musicianship and arrangements, energy and enthusiasm are unrivalled. Projects have included album recordings, tours, concerts, charity benefits, community choirs and work in the TV industry with the BBC and Kudos Productions. He also directs his own soul, jazz, gospel vocal collective, MKC.
