Event overview
Join us for the closing reception of the AHRC-funded exhibition Goldsmiths & Lewisham: Shared Histories on the 2 May, 5-8pm, in the Weston Atrium of the New Academic Building.
Wine will be served throughout the evening, with remarks by Curator Dr Jenny Doussan at 6pm.
This collaborative exhibition, organised by the Department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths in partnership with the Goldsmiths Art Collections and the Lewisham Local History Society, offers an insight into the area as a centre of creative work over the past century. The exhibition takes place over four sites across Goldsmiths campus, New Cross and Deptford, linked by interactive technology "We Curate" that allows collective browsing of objects across all four installations. The exhibition ran from 24 April - 3 May.
For details on each of the four installations, including opening hours and locations, please see
