Guy Dartnell: Shaping Sounds
The Performance Research Forum is a meeting ground between contemporary practitioners, researchers, students and staff in the college as well as the general public via a programme of cutting edge talks, events and performances.
Guy Dartnell is an international award winning solo and collaborative artist and film-maker.
He is an associate with Improbable, Lone Twin Theatre and Dance4 and the co-artistic director of Oogly Boogly.
He will be showing film and talking about Shaping Sounds 2, a recent collaboration with deaf choreographer Chisato Minamimura and sound specialist Dirk Püschel exploring voice, movement and acoustic technology in relationship to deafness.
The event takes place in the George Wood Theatre, Richard Hoggart Building, Goldsmiths, University of London, Lewisham Way, SE14 6NW, at 6.15pm, hosted by Anna Furse.
Entrance free of charge, but booking is essential.
