David Jubb: Artistic Director BAC
The Performance Research Forum is a meeting ground between contemporary practitioners, researchers, students and staff in the college as well as the general public via a programme of cutting edge talks, events and performances.
This event will be based on conversation about the future of theatre: how can we work together to create a world class community theatre?; how can we use creativity to tackle challenges in our communities?

Over the last ten years BAC has integrated its arts, participation and events programmes, signed a 125 year lease on its home (Battersea’s 19th century former Town Hall), begun a £13.3M capital project, opened up the Town Hall’s 72 spaces, used the whole building as a playground for new theatre ideas, launched new young people’s, artist support and touring programmes, undertaken a process of organisational development to become a resilient, increased its turnover from £1.5M to £3.5M, and won international recognition for being a centre of development for new forms of theatre.
