Department of Theatre and Performance Research Seminars are open to all to come and listen to guest speakers and engage in vigorous and innovative debate over a glass of wine.
Dr Theron Schmidt, a lecturer of Theatre and Performance Studies at Kings College London shall begin the new season of Research Seminars with 'Theatricality and Spectacle: Scenes from the Future of the Image. Dr Theron Schmidt's research interests include contemporary performance; interventionist art; Live Art; theatre and the political; participation and spectatorship and this promises to be a lively and inspiring seminar for all who are interested in ideas surrounding visual cultures, spectacle and beyond.
