The Pinter Centre cordially invites you to a lecture by Dr Carolin Stahrenberg from the Music Department of Leopold-Franzens University, Innsbruck, on "Cabaret in Berlin in the 1920s". Dr Stahrenberg is an authority on popular musical theatre in German in the twenties and thirties, including operetta, musical comedy and cabaret and has published a monograph on Berlin cabaret of the twenties.
The lecture will begin at 5.30 pm in RHB 250 on Wednesday 18 February and will be followed at 6.15 pm by a glass of wine and an informal discussion. The topic is of great interest to musical theatre specialists, students of literature, film and history, so please extend this invitation to anyone who may not be on our mailing list.
