Event overview
In this concert they will present the outcome of their 6 day long research on texture for string instruments, percussion and analogue electronics.
David Somló and Aron Porteleki play together in the Hungarian experimental trio Dorota. Their untitled first album was called 'the most adventurous I've heard for a long time' (freejazz.com) and 'a classic of its kind' (New York Music Daily blog).
Drum and viola player Aron Porteleki is one of the busiest musician of the hungarian experimental/improvisation scene. He plays in dozens of formations from authentic folk to free improvisation groups, and tours intensely with contemporary dance pieces. In his playing he melts together the rawness of folk music with the sound world of freejazz.
