Event overview
As part of the Department of Music's PureGold season, we present a memorial concert of virtuoso violin music for Mordkovitch, performed by her former pupils, friends and family.
The concert will be in the memory of the renowned violinist Lydia Mordkovitch, who passed away in December 2014. Lydia was Professor of Violin at the Royal Academy of Music. This concert will feature Lydia's daughter, pianist (Ilana Mordkovitch-Roos), Lydia's both grand-daughters violinists (Juliette Roos, Tanja Roos), PhD student Viktoria Zora and some of Lydia's former pupils.
