The Goldsmiths Sinfonia and Chorus, with the Keyboard Collective, Percussion Ensemble and Sonic Shorts by Music Computing students, present this evening concert as part of Music Week.
As part of the Department of Music’s “Music Week” the Sinfonia and Chorus present an evening concert of music with an American/French theme. The Keyboard Collective and Percussion Ensemble add their own take on the Music Week themes within this exciting evening programme.

Louis Andriessen: Klokken voor Haarlem
Debussy (arr. Hans Zender): Funf Preludes
Henry Cowell: Ostinato Pianissimo
Ned Rorem: Letters from Paris
Trad (arr. James Erb): Shenandoah
Reich (arr.Cassidy): The Sound of 18 Musicians Clapping
Terry Riley (arr. Paul Cassidy): Keyboard Study #1
Sonic Shorts by students on the BMus/BSc Music Computing Programme
All students in the Department of Music have one week intensive rehearsals, culminating in performances at the end of the week. Students on the BMus Music programme present their concert in the Great Hall on Friday 2 October, whilst students on the BMus Popular Music course perform their shows on Saturday 3 October in St James Hatcham Church and in the Main Building forecourt.
All welcome - this event, as a special welcome to Goldsmiths students, is free to those with a current Goldsmiths Student Card. Tickets available on the door.
