Leading contemporary pianist Andrew Zolinsky performs this lunchtime concert with works by Meredith Monk, Andrew Lang and Diderik Wagenaar.

Diderik Wagenar: La Volta
Andrew Zolinsky is a pianist of interpretive vision whose outstanding repertoire ranges from early Baroque to the most avant-garde music.
Andrew is a keen exponent of the music of Unsuk Chin and recently gave the French premiere of her Etudes at the Festival Musica in Strasburg. Andrew also gave the London premiere of her Piano Concerto with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, as a result of which, the orchestra immediately invited him back to perform the Barber Concerto with them.
In addition to his appearances with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Andrew has performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra and Sinfonia 21.
Andrew has performed at mist of the major venues and festivals in the UK and has also given concerts in France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic, Japan and the US.

Hosted by the Department of Music at Goldsmiths, this series of concerts gives members of the Department an opportunity to perform their work in the grand surroundings of Deptford Town Hall on the Steinway Model D piano.
The performance is open to all staff and students at Goldsmiths, as well as members of the public.
