Adam Mars-Jones talking about his newly published work, a memoir, Kid Gloves: A Voyage Round My Father
Adam Mars-Jones is a novelist and critic. He has been a regular contributor to The Guardian, Observer, the Times Literary Supplement and the London Review of Books.
His first collection of stories, Lantern Lecture, won a Somerset Maugham Award. Other works include Monopolies of Loss, The Darker Proof: Stories from a Crisis, co-written with Edmund White. His novels include, The Waters of Thirst, Cedilla and Pilcrow. Blind Bitter Happiness was a collection of essays and his memoir has just been published. Adam Mars-Jones teaches Creative Writing here at Goldsmiths .
