Readings by the seventeen shortlisted writers from the MA Creative & Life Writing Programme.
You are warmly invited to the presentation of the seventh Pat Kavanagh Prize, awarded annually to a graduate of the MA creative writing programme. The £500 prize, created in memory of the much admired literary agent, who died in 2008, is awarded by a team of her colleagues at United Agents; the previous winners were Jonathan Holt, David Nash, Giovanna Iozzi, Julia Rotte, Luiza Sauma and Paul Carney.
This year’s ceremony includes readings by the seventeen shortlisted writers, after which Sarah Ballard of United Agents will announce the decision.
