Wang Min An ('Cultural Revolution and Desiring-Machines') teaches at Capital Normal University, Beijing. He is probably China's leading art intellectual and one of its leading cultural theorists. He has written widely on machines, objects, and urban space. He has written lyrically on garbage.
Graham Harman ('Limits of "The Origin of the Work of Art"') teaches at the American University in Cairo. He is author of Tool Being and a number of other works on Heidegger and the metaphysics of objects.
