A weekend of discussions, coding, music, and demos using the algorithmic composition software, slippery chicken.
The following events are completely open to the public, perfect for those intereted in algorithmic and/or computer music composition.
Saturday (in RHB 274)
10.00 - 10.45: STATE OF THE CHICKEN: where it's (not) at, where it's (not) going, what needs doing
10.45 - 11.30: USER INSIGHTS, pt. 1: the challenges, frustrations, and joys of working with and within slippery chicken
11.50 - 12.35: USER INSIGHTS, pt. 2
Sunday (in the EMS live room)
10.00 - 12.30: OPEN REHEARSAL using the disklavier + coding show & tell
12.30 - 13.30: CONCERT of algorithmic piano music, to be performed by the disklavier in the EMS Live Room
