Conrad has been a teacher and a teacher trainer for over 30 years and taught and trained in numerous countries - from High Schools in South Africa to training centres in China and Peru and from private language schools in Australia and the USA to Higher Education in the United Kingdom.
Conrad is currently an inspector for four different quality assurance schemes, namely The British Association of Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes (BALEAP), Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services (EAQUALS), International House World Organisation (IHWO) and Cambridge English CELTA inspections and is also a judge for both the English Speaking Union Duke of Edinburgh Awards and the British Council ELTons.
Research Interests
Conrad has a particular interest in intercultural communication, global citizenship, the student experience and quality assurance within Higher Education institutions and private language centres.
