Civic University Agreement
Working with 11 other local anchor institutions, we are making Lewisham an even better place to live, work and create.
Our Civic University Agreement sets out the shared vision and action plan agreed by 12 anchor institutions in the London Borough of Lewisham. Together we will be working on shared priorities to improve the lives of those in our locality, with partners each playing to their respective strengths.
From climate action to culture, health and wellbeing, educational opportunities to regeneration and growth, together we are working to address some of the most pressing issues affecting our borough.
Our summary booklet below explains what we are trying to achieve. You can also read the full agreement.
I am proud to see our key local organisations working together to support Lewisham. Independently we are all committed to improving the lives of people in our borough, but together we can achieve so much more, especially in the ongoing financial climate. I’m looking forward to working even more closely with our partners and seeing the real benefits this brings for our residents.
Damien Egan, Mayor of Lewisham
