Rabail’s research focuses on optimising technology for the betterment of people particularly educational games
Rabail Tahir is a Lecturer in UX engineering in the Department of Computing at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her passion is to optimise technology for the betterment of people by bridging the gap between the technology and the users. She is leading multiple courses for bachelor's, master’s, and online degrees here at Goldsmiths.
Rabail completed her PhD in Computer Science in 2021 from Norwegian university of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway. Her doctoral research focused on game-based learning design and evaluation. Rabail also worked as postdoctoral researcher at NTNU, where she worked on the project “smart workplaces past COVID-19”.
Rabail’s research interests include usability engineering, human computer interaction, user interface design, game-based learning, educational technology, and smart workplaces.
