The Decadence Research Centre at Goldsmiths University invites expressions of interest from candidates who are considering applying for a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship focusing on critical and/or historical research projects on decadence. We particularly welcome applications from scholars working in literature, theatre, dance, visual arts and film, and you can find out more about research strengths and current projects within the Centre.
If you are interested in applying with a research project that focuses on decadence, please send a CV and a draft of the research proposal part of the BA application to drc (@gold.ac.uk). Expressions of interest will be reviewed by an internal panel, and candidates whom we would like to mentor will be offered tailored support by both the Decadence Research Centre and Goldsmiths Research Office in preparing an application.
The British Academy application process is highly competitive. The deadline for approved Outline Stage applications is 5pm (BST) on 4 October 2023.
