Tess is an artist with a background in sculpture, video, sound art and theatre design. Central to Tess' practice is a theatrical engagement with the human body, as an object or detail participating in and impacting on its environs. Often working with choreography, script and collage, she explores where the intersection of theatre and design practice can converge with narrative structures, repetition and unique social histories.

Teaching and supervision
Tess teaches on the MA Design Expanded Practice and sessionally on BA Design. She is co-lead of the MA Design Expanded Practice Culture & Ecologies Studio.
