3.6 External Examiners 

3.6.1

All programmes of study must have at least one External Examiner who will be a full member of the relevant Board of Examiners.

3.6.2

No qualification shall be awarded, or progression decision taken, without at least one External Examiner participating in the examining process for that award.

3.6.3

External Examiners must contribute to the business of Boards of Examiners in accordance with published procedures. This can include attendance at BoE meetings where required.
