Brian Molko, lead singer and guitarist for Placebo was awarded an honorary fellowship from Goldsmiths in 2012.
Having released six albums and undertaken six world tours with sales of 12 million albums worldwide, Brian has been called one of the most influential, original and uncompromising successes ever to grace rock music.
He is also famously bisexual and known for his iconic androgynous dress sense.
Brian’s songs have been described in the Times as "tales of pleasure, pain and deviant sex." Over the years he has collaborated with countless artists, which include but are not limited to Jane Birkin, David Bowie, Robert Smith and Michael Stipe of R.E.M.
Brian Molko graduated from Goldsmiths with a degree in Drama in 1993.
