Farooq Chaudhry

Farooq Chaudhry is a renowned dance producer who has played a significant role in shaping the British dance scene.

Over the past 20 years, his unwavering passion for art, business acumen and desire to connect with communities across the world has led him to work as Creative Producer with companies such as English National Ballet, PCDC (Yang Liping). He has consulted, mentored and taught emerging artists and producers around the world.

Chaudhry is recognised as a global cultural leader, committed to “levelling the playing field” for artists, audiences and cultures. In 2019, as part of the Queen’s New Year’s Honours, Chaudhry was awarded an OBE for his services to Dance and Dance Production and was appointed as a Tate Artist Trustee.

Farooq Chaudhry was awarded an honorary Doctorate DLit by Goldsmiths in 2023.
