Mary Curnock Cook OBE is an independent educationalist, who was awarded an honorary fellowship from Goldsmiths in 2018.
Mary Curnock Cook serves on the board of several education organisations.
She is Chair of the Dyson Institute and of Pearson Education Ltd. She is a non-executive director for the London Interdisciplinary School, The Student Room and Education Cubed and is a Trustee of the Higher Education Policy Institute. She also chairs an HE Edtech group on behalf of Emerge Education.
From 2010-2017, she was Chief Executive of the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Earlier in her career she worked in the hospitality, food and biotech sectors.
She has an MSc from London Business School and was awarded an OBE in 2000. Mary is an Honorary Fellow of Birkbeck, University of London and has an honorary doctorate from the University of Gloucestershire.
In 2018, Goldsmiths awarded Mary Curnock Cook and honorary fellowship.
