Brian's research focuses on the economic consequences of Covid-19 government policies.
I am a PhD student at the University of Greenwich. I joined the IMS as Associate Lecturer in 2021. Since October 2023, I am a Lecturer in Economics. My research focuses on the economic consequences of Covid-19.

Teaching and supervision
As a Lecturer in Economics at Goldsmiths, Brian teaches undergraduate and courses in economics. He serves as Module Leader for several subjects, including From National Statistics to Big Data, Economic Reasoning and Intermediate Macroeconomics, and as Associate Lecturer in several other modules. He also serves as personal tutor. Additionally, Brian holds key roles as Deputy Director for UG Economics Programs & Erasmus Coordinator for the Institute of Management Studies (IMS).
Research interests
Brian's research agenda focuses on the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and related government policies. His interest can be divided in three broad areas. First, evaluating the economic impact of government restrictions during the pandemic. Second, the impact of the Covid-19 on labour markets. Third, employing big data to study economic phenomenon.
