Dr Tiziana Foresti (Ph.D. in History of Economic Thought, University of Florence) joined the Institute of Management Studies in 2019. In the last years she has been pursuing a line of research concerning the quantitative measurement of the value to Italian firms of early political connections with the Fascist regime in the years of Benito Mussolini’s rise to power. In 2014 and in 2015 her research was awarded with an INET grant. She has previously been teaching fellow at the Department of Economics of Bocconi University, ricercatore a tempo determinato in History of economic thought (University of Pisa), post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Statistics of the University of Rome, La Sapienza as well as the recipient of research grants from the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst.
