Undergraduate Sandwich Scholars
All undergraduate candidates must apply online through UCAS. Candidates will need to use a special Ciência sem Fronteiras code when they apply for UK places. Candidates will be able to get this code from the International Unit website.
Postgraduate PhD Sandwich Scholars & Full PhD Scholars
Please look at the research specialism’s we offer by consulting the staff and department profiles below. If you feel that there is a good fit with your research project, contact us to discuss your project and we will advise you whether we can offer supervision.
If we think that there is a good fit with your project we will encourage you to make an application via our online application form. Once your application is approved, you will then be issued with an offer letter.
At this stage you will need to submit your research proposal for consideration by Ciência sem Fronteiras by their deadline.
- For full PhD – the student submits this application
- For Sandwich PhD - your Brazilian university research supervisor submits this application on your behalf
The research proposal is then considered by a committee inBrazil and if you are successful, they will issue you with a funding letter. You will need to send this funding letter to Goldsmiths so we can then process your Visa letter [called a CAS] which enables you to obtain your student visa.
