Bestival debuts for three Goldsmiths alumni

Three recent Goldsmiths, University of London alumni are set to perform at this year’s Bestival.
Singer-songwriter Tom Morley, who performs as Thoss, graduated in 2013 and will play the main Castle Stage on Friday 8th September.
Maya Yianni, whose music draws influences from jazz, punk and soul, will play the Box Stage on Saturday 9th September. She graduated in 2014.
And Dan Coyle (D.A.N) will celebrate his 2017 graduation with a slot on the Invaders of the Future Stage on Sunday 10th September.
All three performers completed the BMus Popular Music at Goldsmiths.
Goldsmiths has a strong connection with Bestival, having hosted a mini version of the festival on campus in 2016.
The day included a headline set from Ghostpoet in the Great Hall, as well as performances from Goldsmiths alumnus Rosie Lowe and then-students Nocturne – who went on to play the Castle Stage at Bestival 2016.
This year’s event gets underway on Thursday 7th September, and is held at the Lulworth Estate in Dorset. Headliners included The XX, Jamie T and the Pet Shop Boys.
