Global crises, such as the recent pandemic and its associated measures that led to confinement and restrictions in social life, can have a direct impact on local and individual experiences. This book is an analytical approach to the impact that Covid-19 had on the varied aspects of death, dying and bereavement; an exploration and reflection-in-action from experts in the field.

The prestigious list of Outstanding Academic Titles is used by librarians as one of the criteria when selecting their holdings. Only 19 books out of 7000 published by Routledge during the period were awarded Outstanding Academic Titles.
In awarding Outstanding Academic Titles, the editors consider overall excellence in presentation and scholarship, importance relative to other literature in the field, distinction as a first treatment of a given subject in book or electronic form, originality or uniqueness of treatment, value to undergraduate students and the importance in building undergraduate library collections.
More information about the Outstanding Academic Titles is available on the Choice website.
Death, Grief and Loss in the Context of COVID-19 was published by Routledge in August 2021.
