With our global reputation attracting students from more than 100 different countries, the latest QS World University Rankings names Goldsmiths the 25th ‘most international’ university in the UK and 54th in the world.
The 2016 league table also places us 164th in the world for our percentage of staff members from overseas, among them internationally renowned academics who bring a wealth of diverse expertise and experience to south London.
We have continued to improve on our overall QS World University Ranking position, moving into the 421st-430rd bracket from 451-460 in 2015 and 501-550 in 2014. We are also in the UK top 40 for academic reputation.
This year QS collected over 100,000 survey responses from people around the world to form the 2016 table. They considered 4,322 universities in total and evaluated 916.
Patrick Loughrey, Warden of Goldsmiths, says: “I’m immensely proud of the work our colleagues and students have put in, over many decades, toward building the global reputation that continues to attract the most talented people to our campus.
“Students come to this city - and London is truly the best city in the world for education and research - and they get a global experience. They make friends from around the world and then build careers on every continent. The result is an incredible network of ambassadors for Goldsmiths who take their experiences with them wherever they go.”
