This is Goldsmiths: Revision special
Primary page content
Studying hard and revising is obviously important to help you do the best you can in exams and assignments. But it’s not always enough.
It may sound like a cliché but it’s vital to make sure your health is in as good shape as your mind. We know you’ve got a lot on your plate over the next month and these are some ways to help you stay focused - and have fun!
Try: Art Psychotherapy
As part of our'Be Well Do Well' campaign you can join Art Psychotherapist and Goldsmiths lecturer Jon Martyn for a practical group workshop and discover how art can be a great emotional outlet. The session is at 11am on Monday 5 May and no previous art experience is necessary. Book your free place now.
Enjoy: a night out in Lewisham
Now on its third weekend, Lewisham's Street Feast Model Market is a fun alternative to a day at a spa: a relaxing and enjoyable night of food, drinks and dancing will certainly help you get through the toughest periods!
Practice: Tai Chi
Apart from their regular Monday class, our Confucius Institute are offering extra Tai Chi sessions to help you de-stress during exam periods. Just turn up at College Green at 12pm on Wednesday 6 May.
Escape: To the park
If College Green doesn't bring you far away enough there's loads of places to explore on the doorstep of New Cross. It's not just about Greenwich park (although that is a lovely place) - Hilly Fields, Telegraph Hill and Peckham Rye are only a walk away from campus.
Take: A Bollywood class
Too many hours spent in the library? Take a break and come dance! Free Bollywood dance class with an instructor from The Bollywood Co. Friday 2 May in the Stretch - sign up now.
Get: A different perspective
Sometimes all you need is a different perspective. Get inspired by the different angles students have captured and then do your own exploring - you might even find the new perfect study spot! We'd love to see where you end up so keep sharing on Instagram using #Goldsmiths.
