Immersion and reciprocity: art experience in live space

Michelle Williams’ work deals with the subtle and sublime potential of story telling through the ordinary and everyday. Williams' work varies from single frame portraits and video installations to complex renderings of reality via seemingly more traditional documentary means. She is currently based in London at Goldsmiths College researching her Mphil/PhD, which will explore a variety of verbal and non-verbal forms of communication. Her focus is on spiritual and automatic expression, looking at contained spaces which allow/trigger non-conformative expression and thought, She also teaches at Goldsmiths on the BA Critical Studies Textiles and MFA Textiles programme.
