Engaging seminars and inspiring speakers
My favourite parts of studying the MA in Creative Writing and Education degree programme were the seminar groups and learning from each other.
The visiting speakers had a major role in my development and opened new areas of interest to be researched. The speakers highlighted the significance of personal narratives.
Personal growth
My personal development has grown throughout the duration of my studies: supportive meetings with the Careers Guidance on campus helped me structure learning goals and explore career choices.
Enabling success
Come with an open mind and with a willingness to engage and learn from your peers.
The University is supportive and enables its learners to succeed. I benefited so much from the University providing support to address my Dyslexia and mobility challenges.

A variety of local amenities
The University is situated in a community where it has established links. It has accessible transport services and a variety of local amenities.
I admire the ornate interiors of the Deptford Town Hall Building. I volunteer with a Creative Writing group for The Open Book Project and attend an Art Class in the building.
