Before joining the MA in Social Entrepreneurship Christian Jensen had been a freelance journalist specialising in investigative and constructive journalism projects for six years.
Originally from Denmark he moved to London in 2008 to broaden his range and work on a more international level. He has since worked in most countries in Europe; covering politics and filming documentaries, as well as lived half a year in Hong Kong.
The later as part of an exchange program with City University London from where he earned his BA in Journalism with a focus on humanitarian and activist reporting.
Afterwards he enrolled at Goldsmiths especially for the Social Entrepreneurship course, it being one of the few pure and focused Social Entrepreneurship degrees in the world. After graduating he has focused on using his new and old skillsets together, working on journalistic projects which could make a positive difference in the world.
Among the strengths of the course he lists the well-balanced blend of practical and theoretical classes as well the wide range they cover, having elements of business, economics, politics and sociology. He also very highly enjoyed the cross-disciplinary environment and events at Goldsmiths.
