Main details
A born and bred New Yorker, Jessica moved to London in 2007 to undertake the MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy course to expand a developing career in artist and events management. With a background in classical music and strong interest in international politics, her main body of research focused on the impact of cultural globalisation in the context of music, media and identity. At Goldsmiths, she particularly benefited from the diversity of the international student body and exceptional instructors, as well as the flexibility the course offered in her chosen fields of research. Most importantly, Goldsmiths pivotal position in the wider London academic and artistic community, as well as its unique geographical locale, provided a launching pad for an ensuing career path in London government and international events management.
Following the completion of the course in 2008, Jessica joined the culture and events team at the Mayor of London’s office, where she had the opportunity to develop and curate a number of London festivals and community events, as well as contribute to the new Mayor’s cultural strategy.
Jessica joined events wizards EAS in October 2010 as an Accounts Manager, and is currently managing a broad portfolio of clients including London Fashion Week, The United Nations, Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix and many, many more. She is a freelance French Horn player and currently works and lives in East London.
