Having graduated from my Goldsmiths programme, I had a renewed passion for Arts Education and began preliminary research into its rollout which was then presented at the 2nd World Conference on Arts Education, UNESCO, South Korea.
I'm now Senior Instructor in Drama at The University of Trinidad & Tobago and I manage a small theatre company that uses role-play for private & public sector human resource training. I also participate in Curriculum Review for the Curriculum Planning and Development Section of the Ministry of Education in Trinidad and in Subject Panel Review Teams for Theatre Arts in the Caribbean for which the study of cultural policy at Goldsmiths adequately prepared me.
Additionally, I’m an Examiner for the practical component of Theatre Arts at the Secondary Level. It’s a rich experience, being part of so many different worlds but they all come together and Goldsmiths provided invaluable industry mentorship towards this end.
