As a melting pot of cultures and creativity, London is the best city to pursue an Arts Management degree. This city offers mind-blowing opportunities at every corner and connects people from the most diverse life backgrounds that help to foster your creativity, enriching your own life experience.
I am thankful to Goldsmiths for making me cross paths with some inspiring individuals among the teaching staff as well as the students. I met amazing people here!
The BA Arts Management interdisciplinary approach allowed me to explore the variety of creative industries, to better direct my interests and consider the aspects in which I am now building my career. The course gave me the tools to apply an understanding of cultural issues and a creative approach to entrepreneurial practice.
My determination to pursue a career in the arts was reinforced by the professional practice opportunities in the programme. The placement directly led me to a better-than-hoped-for starting point, with an internship at Moon Festival 2019, a London-based arts and culture festival, which I am truly thrilled to be involved with! As a result of the multidisciplinary programme at the Festival, I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity to start applying the skills acquired through my degree.
