It’s about ‘doing’ feminism. It’s about care, hope, resilience and patience. I will always call Goldsmiths my intellectual home.

A thoughtfully crafted curriculum

What I appreciated most about the MA Gender, Media & Culture programme was its holistic yet thoughtfully crafted curriculum.  The two core modules alone covered a remarkably broad range of topics, from anti-/post-/decolonialism to ecofeminism, body and affect to diasporic memory, feminist race studies to feminist disability studies, archival methods to spatial analysis, etc.

These modules didn’t just provide academic knowledge – they shaped the way I think and approach the world – certainly in a critical, feminist way.

I can confidently say that much of my current feminist mindset and the feminist life I live now were developed during my time at Goldsmiths. It’s about ‘doing’ feminism. It’s about care, hope, resilience and patience. I will always call Goldsmiths my intellectual home.

Life after Goldsmiths

I am currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Melbourne, funded by the Australian Research Council.

Doing research is one of the ways I ‘do’ feminism. That’s why I really enjoy it!
