Occupation Dance Movement Psychotherapist
Country Finland

Currently I’m working as a Dance Movement Psychotherapist with young adults on the autism spectrum. I also facilitate creative movement groups for adults with learning disabilities. Plus I'm a board member of Finnish Dance Therapy Association, which will take forward the dance movement therapy in Finland. For me it is important and inspiring to be involved in developing Dance Movement Psychotherapy and creating contacts with the therapist in Finland.

Studying at Goldsmiths was a turning point in my life. Study abroad and in a new culture was exciting and challenging, and at the same time instructive. The journey to becoming a therapist was a deep and powerful, with ups and downs, and it is still continuing. The support and help of my course mates and staff members were really important part of my journey. I made life long friends and I’m so grateful for their support and love.

You wont often have an experience like studying at Goldsmiths in your lifetime. It changed me deeply. It helped me to find my inner strength, power and vulnerability. It helped me to find my voice.

During my two years at Goldsmiths I had the privilege of experiencing and witnessing the power of dance and the body mind connection. Now I feel so happy, privileged and honoured to pass that on to my clients.
