About Us
The Wellbeing Research Hub at STaCS is home to an interdisciplinary group of researchers, external partners, and people from the community who coproduce and codelivery research that informs practices and conceptions about wellbeing.
Wellbeing is about a positive outlook in life, and this Hub focuses on nine domains:
- Physical
- Emotional
- Creative
- Spiritual
- Environmental
- Financial
- Occupational
- Intellectual
- Social
The Hub sets core priorities and focuses on exploring the varied factors impacting on wellbeing – including stress, work/life balance, social-political pressures, financial pressures, oppression, discrimination, systemic oppression – as well as protective factors facilitating the wellbeing of different groups of the population.
