Sophie Roberts

Having qualified in 2008, Sophie worked as an Art Psychotherapist within a large NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Multidisciplinary team.This experience enabled Sophie to become one of the trust's safeguarding leads and subsequently a CAMHS team manager.

Sophie co-leads a private art psychotherapy practice and as part of her work outside of Goldsmiths is currently on the board of trustees for MOSAC; a voluntary organization established to support parents and carers of children who have been sexually abused. Sophie is currently undertaking research on the role of Art Psychotherapy and its function in Multi Disciplinary Teams associated with supporting vulnerable young people.

Sophie is the MA Art Psychotherapy Admissions Tutor and interim Programme Convenor.
