Student mediation (peer mediation)

Information on how to access and get involved with peer mediation at Goldsmiths

Primary page content

Peer mediation is an effective way of addressing conflict between your friends, classmates and university colleagues.

About peer mediation

We use trained students to provide mediation for other students experiencing conflict.

Guided by clear principles and a code of conduct, the mediators help their peers to consider how the problem has come about and what the impact has been. They assist them to agree how to put things right or avoid it happening again. Problems are resolved quickly and constructively.

Accessing peer mediation

To access peer mediation please contact Mel Bruce on m.bruce (@gold.ac.uk).

Leave your name, telephone number, email address and your Goldsmiths Student ID with Mel who will contact you to discuss your request for mediation.
