For each of our modules, we have projects that are very creative and original, and we have a lot of guest speakers.

Institute of Management Studies

These subjects are taught by the experts in our Institute of Management Studies. They want you to be able to adapt and stand out in today’s economy, so they make sure you study a near real-time curriculum that’s rooted in current research and driven by what’s happening in companies now.

The Institute is housed in the glass-fronted Professor Stuart Hall Building (PSHB), which has views across London and it's own cafe and relaxed study areas. Take a virtual tour of the PSHB atrium

University can be an incredible tool and investment that will propel your trajectory in life, regardless of your specialism.

Innovative and different

Expect to be challenged. At Goldsmiths you’ll change how you think and be inspired to develop fresh ideas and new approaches to your studies. For example, students on our PPE degree don't just gain an introduction to ideas that have shaped the world - they learn to challenge established political and economic policies, institutions and methods.

We champion degrees that provoke thought and stretch the imagination. That’s why so many of our former students are leading the way in reshaping the sociocultural landscape on a global scale.

Inspiring location

Based in vibrant New Cross, our friendly single-site campus is the perfect base to explore all that London has to offer.

As the Best Student City in the World (QS Best Student Cities 2025), London provides access to a wealth of culture, creativity and career opportunities. It’s the home of big business and entrepreneurial start-ups, and practitioners from a range of organisations contribute to the programmes to enrich what you’ll learn.

Our range of events, societies and sports teams mean that whatever you're into, you're bound to find your place in our welcoming academic community.

World-class reputation

As part of the University of London for more than 120 years, we have a rich academic heritage, but we’re constantly questioning, challenging and building on what we know.

We also have several subject areas in the world’s elite according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024, and almost 80% of the research undertaken at Goldsmiths was 4* or 3* - the highest level possible.
