Articulation programme between Institut Informatika Indonesia and Goldsmiths: Computer Science

The Department of Computing at Goldsmiths, University of London is collaborating with Institut Informatika Indonesia (IKADO) university to deliver an articulation degree for those interested in exploring study in different contexts internationally.

You will complete your first, second and third year at IKADO before completing your final year at Goldsmiths on the BSc Computer Science programme.

Following successful completition of the first three years of BSc Informatics programme at IKADO, you'll be eligible to apply for final year entry to the following programme at Goldsmiths.

Teaching style

This programme is taught through a mixture of lectures, tutorials, workshops and laboratory sessions. You’ll also be expected to undertake a significant amount of independent study. This includes carrying out required and additional reading, preparing topics for discussion, and producing essays or project work.

How you'll be assessed

You’ll be assessed by a variety of methods, depending on your module choices. These may include coursework, examinations, group work and projects. If you opt for an industrial placement year, your placement tutor will assess your work. If you complete the placement year successfully, you earn the endorsement 'with work experience' on your degree certificate.

Entry Requirements

You will need to be studying the BSc Informatics programme at IKADO to be elidgble to take part in this articulation programme.

Once you have successfully completed the first three years at IKADO with an attainment of at least 120 credits from the taught module and a GPA of 3.0, you will be able to apply to enter the final year at Goldsmiths on the BSc Computer Science programme.

English language requirements

If English isn’t your first language, you will need an IELTS score (or equivalent English language qualification) of 6.0 with a 6.0 in writing and no element lower than 5.5 to study this programme.
