Connect before you arrive

At Goldsmiths, we want you to start building meaningful connections before you step onto campus. That’s why we’ve launched the Goldsmiths Unibuddy Community – a safe and welcoming online space where you can meet fellow offer holders, chat with Student Ambassadors, and start feeling part of university life ahead of your arrival this autumn.

Joining the Goldsmiths Unibuddy Community

Our community is hosted on Unibuddy, and you’ll receive an invitation email from notifications(@unibuddy.com) with your unique link to join.

Keep an eye on your inbox for your invitation email, and don’t forget to check your junk or spam folders just in case.

Haven’t received your invite? Contact us and we’ll help you get set up.

You can also download the Unibuddy App from the Apple Store or Google Play for easy access on the go.

Getting started with the community space

In the Goldsmiths community, you’ll find a range of public group chats where you can connect with others based on:

  • Your subject area
  • Shared hobbies and interests
  • Questions about life at Goldsmiths

Can’t find a group that fits? You can create your own public groups for others to join.

You can also send direct messages for private conversations within the platform. While Goldsmiths cannot monitor these chats, we encourage everyone to follow our community guidelines for a safe and respectful experience.

For safety, we recommend keeping all conversations within the Goldsmiths Unibuddy Community. If you choose to share your social media details or create group chats on other platforms, please ensure you follow the relevant safety guidelines. Avoid sharing personal details such as your full name, phone number, or location. Goldsmiths can moderate the Unibuddy Community but cannot oversee external platforms.

By joining the Goldsmiths Unibuddy Community, you agree to follow our code of conduct, ensuring a safe and inclusive space for all members.
