Maria C. Sobrino did a BA in Fine Art studies. Her interest for sculpture and three dimensional design led her to continue into graduate studies. She developed an interest for philosophical and social theories and how these can be enlighteners for conceptual design and the improvement of our habitable spaces. Her work has focused on investigating the conditions of private spaces and intimate activities within public contexts. The spatial discourses which affect the way we act and exercise everyday activities.
