Ute Leiner is a designer/maker living and working in East London.   She started her own artistic practice in 2000, predominantly designing and making lighting and sculptural work for domestic and public spaces. At present Ute is exploring the politics of space and gender and the effects of the alliance between light and reason within Western visuality.
